Ultimate Reset Day 1 and 2


I started the Ultimate Reset yesterday.

WEEK 1: RECLAIM

This is the process of preparing your body for change to come.  I am slowly removing foods such as red meat and dairy, which are known to place stress on the digestive system from your diet.  I will be doing this for the next 7 days.  I am also taking 4 supplements – Alkalinize, Oxygenize, Mineralize and Optimize.  I am drinking a ton of water also!  After this week I will be ready to continue the process of releasing accumulated toxins in my body.

I really enjoyed everything on the menu and was amazed by how good the food taste.  I mean, it was nothing new to me really except for the kale and salmon but the flavor was so good and delicious.  I was a little hungry after my lunch and needed a snack so I had a few almonds and it actually held me over until dinner surprisingly.

I did have a headache for a few hours yesterday and felt a little sluggish.  I am glad I weaned out caffeine a week ago because I’m sure that headache would have been much worse.  I was also up with Mason most of the night prior so I’m sure that didn’t help.  I did lay down for a 30 minute power nap and woke up feeling amazing!  Last night was the first time in a while that I was able to fall asleep as soon as I hit the bed.  Usually it takes me several hours to get to sleep which drives me crazy but I had no problems last night.

Woke up feeling very rested.  Mind was clear and overall felt really good.  Today seems much easier than yesterday.  I slept really well and although I was up with Mason a couple of times it felt like I slept 8 hours straight.  I am really shocked.  Everyone says the first few days are the toughest but I feel great today.  I loved everything on the menu again today and can’t even begin to describe how good everything tastes.  Trevor makes fun of me because I can’t stop talking about it.  We usually season all of our foods so much – so to have veggies steamed with no seasoning would seem tasteless but its the opposite!

So far I am really enjoying the RESET and looking forward to seeing how I feel in the next few weeks.    I have weighed myself and took my measurements and will share the results at the end of phase 1.
